"one actor plays all the members of an old english aristocratic family" now reminds me of "Dinner for one". Do you know that? It's THE german television classic, being repeated every year on New Year's Eve since 1963 and therefore the most frequently repeated TV programme ever. It's the recording of a theater play by english writer Laurie Wylie and basically is about the 90th birthday party of an old aristocratic english lady that she wants to celebrate with her old friends - but they are all dead by now. So her old butler James has to play all the friends roles which basically means to drink for them and try to imitate their way of speaking. In the end he gets more and more drunk and guess how it ends...Happy new year!
